Curriculum planning
Invictus Kindergarten offers a solid curriculum that consists of Chinese, English, Singapore Maths, International Early Years Curriculum, physical education, and Virtues Projects.
We focus on whole-person development and provide students with experiences that extend beyond the classroom, helping them become resilient, responsible, and independent learners, ultimately, sharping them into confident adults. Our curriculum not only provides a high-quality international preschool education but also establishes a strong foundation for future learning as students progress into primary and secondary education.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
At Invictus Kindergarten, children learn through inquiry and play. We strive to create a learning environment that nurtures students' leadership, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills, fostering a lifelong love for learning. We prioritize strong partnerships with families, ensuring active communication with parents regarding their child's progress and development. With a diverse school community, our students gain cross-cultural awareness from an early age, preparing them to become global citizens of the world.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
The assessments are teacher's observation, class work, termly development checklist, and students' portfolio. The International Early Years Curriculum, with its 18 themed topics, offers structured learning process with specific goals for each subject area, as well as personal development and international-mindedness. It is designed around eight essential learning principles and four learning strands, including interdependence and independence, communication, inquiry, and living and physical well-being.
