Curriculum planning
The interesting theme-based curriculum have created a rich learning environment, combined with the cultivation of morality, science, art, music and physical fitness
Diversified interest classes, such as: Dancing Class, Little Artist, Taekwondo, Roller Skating, Cambridge English, Violin or Viola Class, etc.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
The curriculum combines different themes with game-based teaching and design activity methods
1.Theme-based storybook teaching to create a rich language learning environment
-The spiral-based curriculum and One minute sharing
2.Creating an English environment integrated into daily life
-Two experienced native English teachers
-Regular English events (Colourful Day, Race Day, and Show & Tell Day)
3.Strengthening Putonghua learning
-Through stories, life scenarios, vocabularies and nursery rhymes
-K3 learn simple pinyin
4.Japanese teacher, Japanese-style game-based Learning
5.Science to unleash potential and build a broad perspective
-Emphasizes STEAM Education with innovative ideas and integrates different subjects
6.Cultivating children's character, fostering a caring culture
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Our school uses continuous observations and records to show children's learning and achievements. Children’s Learning Portfolios are distributed during the end of first-term and second term every school year to give parents an understanding of children's development in all aspects.
