Curriculum planning
Based on the teaching philosophy of "Children-Centered" and "Learning To Learn", we emphasize nurturing internal learning motivation and autonomous learning by using different ways to inspire, stimulate and encourage children to ask questions and help construct knowledge.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Children love to listen the stories, the protagonuists and plots in the stories can most reasonate with children. We through the game activities combined with picture books and music to improve children's learning motivation and ability, empower children to express and explore in the game learning, develop children's individual potential, thereby promoting the development of the whole person.
Early linguistic experience is of the utmost importance towards children’s linguistic development as it builds the foundation of the child’s biliterate and trilingual capabilities and establishes their interest towards English and Putonghua. Our school has hired professional English and Putonghua teachers as well as a NET teacher to boost our students’ confidence in utilizing the languages through a variety of interesting picture books and diverse learning activities to construct a fun, meaningful, and real linguistic environment.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
We seek to gain an understanding of children's learning progress through continuous observations & assessments and by establishing a personal learning portfolio for each child and collecting children’s development data on a regular basis, so that we can provide appropriate guidance to cater for individual development needs.
