Curriculum planning
It is in accordance with the Guide to Pre-primary Curriculum, integrating the quintessence of different teaching methods to achieve balanced and holistic development with individual characteristics in aspects of Spiritual Development, Language (Chinese and English), Early Childhood Mathematics, Arts & Creativity, Nature and Living, Self & Society, Physical Fitness & Health.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Our integrated vocal art teaching supports both the story-based approach and drama elements to train logical, creative and communication skills of children. All-round learning enables children to gain first-hand experiences through entity participations. Reading strategies help to enhance children’s reading ability, judgement, imagination and written communication skill. We provide a healthy campus which create a hygienic, safe and harmonious learning environment to promote children’s healthy growth in physical, psychological, self and social aspects.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Conclusion of multi-language activities, records of ongoing observation by teachers, records of ongoing observation by parents, records of learning outcomes, reports on child development and learning profiles.
