Curriculum planning
|
According to the guidelines of the Education Bureau for curriculum development, our curriculum features the use of games across all aspects of children-centered learning, based on students' interests and life experience. We enable children to experience learning, communicate skillfully, make bold innovations, and dare to undertake responsibilities. Our programmer is designed to help children develop their unique potentials and gain balanced and all-round development in "morality, intelligence, physical ability, sociability, aesthetic feeling, and spirit".
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.

Learning / Teaching approach and activities

Bilingual classes focus on English reading, writing, listening, and oral abilities. Teachers help children learn English naturally and joyfully.
"The 'thematic' and 'project-based' approaches are the main modes of teaching. Other ways of learning include 'experimental' and 'mixed-age' approaches. Through cross-age interaction, children are led to guide their peers and attain the learning effect of mutual simulation.
