Curriculum planning
Our school has been an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School since April 2015. Our curriculum is inquiry based which encourages students to ask questions and participate in problem-solving activities to foster their self-exploration, self-discovery and self-construction experiences. Under the IB Framework, our school also applies the Maker-Centered Learning (MCL) initiative by Project Zero of the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
English, Chinese and Putonghua are the medium of instruction at our school. Learning in an immersive environment allow the students to fully focus in a trilingual learning environment. The students will naturally develop and build on their listening and speaking skills, while laying a firm foundation for reading and writing.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
Systematic observations and records are an ongoing type of assessment in school. We also collect samples of the children's work continuously throughout the school year in order to document their learning progress.
