Curriculum planning
Supported by the concept of "Drama in Education", our school designs curricula that are suitable for children's interests, abilities and experiences based on the latest guidelines from the Education Bureau.
We will follow the "Kindergarten Education Curriculum Guide" (2017) to plan curriculum. Children of nursery classes will not be asked to write, and there will not be mechanical copying exercises and drills on calculation.
Learning / Teaching approach and activities
Our child-centered approach allows children to get outside of the classroom and conduct outdoor visits and learning experiences complemented by the flexible use of IT. Children can enhance their language ability with the assistance of the school's native English and Mandarin teachers and boost teamwork and communication skills through the Grasshopper Scout Group and Flag-Raising Team. By actively implementing the concept of "Drama in Education", children can also acquire knowledge and self-confidence through games and performances.
Assessment of children’s learning experiences
The 3-year "Student Learning Portfolio" allows teachers to conduct continuous records and analyses of the performances of each child and provide parents with a more in-depth understanding of both their learning and mental development.
